Okay... I knew weddings were expensive, but seriously... how do people do it? I just do not understand. If caterers, photographers, videographers, DJs, flower shops, bakeries, and all the other people you have to pay accepted monthly payments, it would make sense. But who has cash to pay these people? Or, who doesn't mind putting that much on a credit card? I just do not get it.
I understand... a lot of people have wealthy parents who either do well or have been socking it away for awhile. But not everyone does. So how do you afford a wedding? I am thinking of selling sponsorship opportunities at our wedding. Oh yeah, and on top of that, we need to sell Chad's townhouse, and hopefully buy a new home of our own. Money sucks. And it is not just in this economy, it just sucks in general. I know I will never be rich, but I sure wish I could win the lottery to pay for some of this. I guess I better start buying Powerball tickets... can't win the lottery if I don't play it.
